Институт истории, археологии и этнографии народов Дальнего Востока ДВО РАН - единственное в России и мире научное учреждение, где комплексно - через призму археологии, этнографии, культуры, политики, экономики - изучается прошлое и настоящее, а на основе этого - прогнозируется будущее огромного историко-культурного пространства, именуемого сегодня российским Дальним Востоком, а вместе с ним - и сопредельных территорий Китая, Японии, Кореи. Структурно являясь частью Дальневосточного отделения Российской академии наук и находясь под научно-методическим руководством Отделений историко-филологических и общественных наук РАН, институт взаимодействует со всеми учреждениями и лицами России и зарубежья, заинтересованными в изучении этого региона. |
С момента своего создания 1 июля 1971 г. и вплоть до сегодняшнего дня научные исследования института ведутся по пяти основным направлениям: археология и этнография тихоокеанской России и сопредельных территорий, история российского присутствия в регионе, история и культура Китая, Кореи, Японии, международные отношения в Восточной Азии. Шесть широко сформулированных тем и более тридцати коллективных и индивидуальных программ научных исследований отражают интересы и устремления четырех укрупненных отделов, восемнадцати структурных подразделений и без малого девяноста научных сотрудников института, среди которых 11 докторов и около 60 кандидатов наук.
Свои главные задачи институт видит не только в проведении объективных научных исследований и подготовке кадров высшей квалификации, но и в широкой пропаганде исторических знаний, содействии совершенствованию гуманитарного образования в школах и вузах региона и в конечном итоге - в создании условий для более прочного утверждения России на берегах Тихого океана, эффективного взаимодействия Дальнего Востока с культурами и народами Восточной Азии и всего Азиатско-Тихоокеанского региона. Мы убеждены, что в гуманитарном сотрудничестве, в развитии интереса друг к другу, в укреплении взаимопонимания и взаимного доверия лежит ключ к преодолению исторических противоречий, подозрительности, ненависти, вражды, без чего бессмысленны все разговоры о превращении региона в зону мира, согласия и экономического процветания. Наш долг и наша задача - содействовать этим процессам, и мы открыты для сотрудничества со всеми, кто разделяет и поддерживает эту позицию.
General information
Institute of History is the only scientific institution in Russia and in the world where through the prism of archaeology, ethnography, culture, politics, economy there are studied the Past, the Present and on the base of it there is given prognoses of the Future of the vast historical-cultural space of the Russian Far East and the adjacent territories of China, Japan and the countries of the Korean Peninsula. Being a part of Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences and working under scientific-methodological leadership of Historical Philological and Social Sciences Branches of the Russian Academy of Sciences the Institute interacts with all institutions and all those in Russia and abroad interested in studying this region.
Since the moment of its creation on the 1st of July of 1971 and up to now scholar investigations of the Institute are doing on five basic directions: archaeology and ethnography of the Pacific Russia and adjacent territories, history and culture of the Russian Far East, history and culture of China, Korea, Japan, and international relations in Eastern Asia. Six widely formulated themes and more than thirty collective and individual collective and individual programs of scientific researches reflect the interests and aspirations of four consolidated departments, eighteen structure units and almost 90 researchers of the Institute. Among them there are 11 Doctors and 60 Candidates of Sciences.
The Institute sees its principal tasks not only in realizing objective scholar investigations and training scientific personnel of high qualification but in wide popularization of historical knowledge, contributing to improvement of humanitarian education in schools and institutions of high education of the region and as a result in creation conditions for firm position of Russia on the Pacific, effective interactions of the Russian Far East with cultures and peoples of East Asia and all Asia-Pacific region. In humanitarian coordination, in development of the interest to each other, in strengthening mutual understanding and mutual trust lies the key for overcoming historical contradictions, suspiciousness, hatred, hostility; that is the base for transformation of the region into a zone of peace, agreement and economic prosperity. Duty and task of the collective of the Institute is to promote to these process, and it is open for coordination with all those who share and support this position.
