In the first half of April 2015 the Head of the government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev visited the countries of South-East Asia – Vietnam (April 6-7) and Thailand (April 7-8). These are two countries with different level and nature of bilateral relations with Russia are united by the fact that the current state of Russian-Vietnamese and Russian-Thai relations requires serious rethinking and diplomatic support.
